Emraan Hashmi has played grey characters in multiple films, however, the actor says it is not his comfort zone. Talking to a daily, the actor said that he had always wanted to try and experiment with various roles as he believes is important for an actor.
Emraan is all set to play a cop in Sanjay Gupta directorial Mumbai Saga. The actor revealed that the cop’s character which he is playing is as same as a gangster. His character never thinks twice to adopt unfair means to catch a person. The actor feels it is like home turf for him. According to the actor, this character he is playing in the Mumbai Saga is quite different from the previous chapters he had played.
Meanwhile, Emraan is happy to play a positive character after a long time. Emraan feels it will be a surprise for the audience to see him in uniform on screen. The actor also praised Sanjay Gupta and said he enjoyed working with him.
The film also stars John Abraham in the lead and is set to release on June 19.
