Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have been the subject of breakup rumours recently, but a new ad featuring Aditya and Ananya’s father, actor Chunky Panday, is now creating buzz.
This ad, promoting the beverage brand Bisleri Lemonata, showcases Aditya trying to relax on a beach, only to be hilariously interrupted by Chunky, who plays a lively shack owner.

In the ad, Aditya dons a bright yellow shirt and heads to the beach, hoping for a peaceful time alone. His plans are thwarted when Chunky, the shack owner, shows up and calls him a “boring fellow!” He then asks Aditya if he wants “double chill.” When Aditya nods, Chunky hands him a bottle of Bisleri Lemonata.
Fans Hillariously React
Fans have quickly reacted to this entertaining collaboration. One fan commented, “Ex sasur-damad,” while another wrote, “That’s why they got close. Only because of the ads.” Another comment read, “WHAT A COMBO! Now this was a huge surprise.” Someone else remarked, “Aditya working with his sasur,” highlighting the amusing dynamic.
Interestingly, Aditya and Ananya teamed up for an advertisement last month, surprising many, especially after an ETimes report in May claimed that they had parted ways in March.
Rumours about Ananya and Aditya’s relationship began in 2022 when they appeared together at Kriti Sanon’s Diwali party. Filmmaker Karan Johar even teased Ananya about their dating status on his show, Koffee With Karan. They were also spotted on multiple vacations together.
Despite the ongoing rumours and fan speculation, neither Aditya nor Ananya have made any official statements about their alleged breakup.

Ananya Panday is preparing for the release of her Prime Video series, Call Me Bae. She has also dubbed for Riley’s voice in the Hindi version of Inside Out 2, which will release this month.
