The upcoming geopolitical thriller Tehran, starring John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar, is expected to release next month in August. Originally slated for release on January 26, 2023, and later postponed to April 26, the film pushed multiple times and now finally set for release.
Box Office Worldwide broke the news couple of weeks back about digital premier of the film and now here is latest update on the film.
Elnaaz Norouzi To Shoot For Promotional Song For Tehran
A source close to the film told Box Office Worldwide, “Tehran is an intense action thriller set in Europe. Film doesn’t feature any song but makers are planning to shoot a promotional dance number for the film with Elnaaz Norouzi. This song will not be part of the film but will be released digitally before the release of the film.”
Song is slated to be shot next week or so when Elnaaz comes back from London where she si currently shooting for Masti 4.
Tehran To Release Next Month On Independence Day
A source close to the production told that there’s a strong possibility of Tehran hitting ott next month. “The team of the film is considering releasing Tehran on Independence Day 2025. A final decision will be taken in a few days after which the official announcement will be made,” the insider revealed.
Film is 90 minute long and it has shaped up really well. Makers are super happy with the product and it is one of the marquee releases of the year on ott. Film is sold for unheard price as last John Abraham starrer The Diplomat did well at box office with exceptional trending despite low opening.
Maddock Films recently released Vikrant Massey starrer Sector 36 directly on Netflix and Bhool Chuk Maaf released on Amazon Prime within two weeks of its theatrical release.
