Ayan Mukerji stunned their fans with the teaser of the Kesariya song from Brahmastra before Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were married. The song became the talk of the town as soon as the full version of it was released a few days ago. It was also trolled for its lyrics and tune as netizens thought it was a copy of the song Laree Chotee.
However, did you know Kesariya was not supposed to be released as the first song from the film? Read details below:
Kesariya was released as the first song from Brahmastra, and the producers claimed that this was because of public demand, but in reality, the other song which was supposed to be released before wasn’t ready. As a result, the producers decided to slightly tweak their promotional strategy and released the Alia & Ranbir-starrer Kesariya.
As the most expensive song in the movie and one with extensive VFX, the aforementioned song was delayed. The song’s title somehow references Shiva and his character. Now the song is all set to release in the second half of August, exactly some days before the film’s release.
The said song is one of the more opulent songs from the movie. Additionally, the song’s makers are currently working on the VFX because they were unable to finish it in time and decided to push it to a later date. The aforementioned song is the biggest in terms of budget, visual effects, and star power and features Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
This song becomes very important because Ranbir’s Shamshera flopped badly at the box office and now Brahmastra needs some real special stuff to sail through at box office. Hope this song will do the trick!
Meanwhile, Brahmastra will be released on September 9. The film will star Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
