Salman Khan’s recent flicks have failed to captivate audiences and receive critical acclaim. His 2015 film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ achieved all of this and more. The film is regarded as a modern classic since it portrayed a heartfelt storey while also conveying an important social message. Most people would be surprised to learn that a sequel to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is in the works.

While a sequel to this film may be on the way, let’s take a look at some of Salman Khan’s other films that deserve a sequel in order to propel Salman’s recently declining career to new heights.

Tere Naam:

Tere Naam, the Hindi version of Bala’s film Sethu, starring Salman Khan in the part made famous by Vikram in the original, should be followed up with a sequel. At this time, it’s unknown whether this Salman starrer will return as a franchise.

Although ‘Radhe’ is now a film, the name is derived from Salman Khan’s character in ‘Tere Naam,’ who was an obsessive lover who suffered from psycho-trauma following a brain injury. Tere Naam was Salman’s first film in about 13 months after his last flop, Yeh Hai Jalwa, which was released in July 2002.

This film took the actors career graph to another level. Salman Khan’s hairdo was also a major factor in the film. It was the most unusual hairstyle he’d ever had, and it looked fantastic on him! Male youth, particularly in the outback and small towns, embraced this hairstyle and began to flaunt it.

Bhumika Chawla made her Bollywood debut in this flick. It was nominated for a number of accolades upon its initial release, including a Best Actor nod for Salman. Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid composed the film’s music, which was the best-selling record of 2003.

If this film gets a sequel, we are sure it will break box office records again.

Bodyguard:

Salman Khan’s film Bodyguard, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan was released in 2011. The film was a box office success. It features a basic, engaging story with a dramatic twist in the tale; the chemistry between the lead actors in the film is amazing, amd the music is well juxtaposed in the narrative. Salman Khan is, without a question, the film’s biggest selling point. He carries the movie on his strong shoulders, and that alone became a compelling reason for the film to be a hit. Salman Khan was seen in a never before seen avatar in the film.

Because of the film’s success, Atul Agnihotri, the producer was rumoured of announcing a sequel. Many sources said that the script was in the works and that Salman will begin filming soon. However, sources also claim that the producer has abandoned plans to make a sequel to Bodyguard starring Salman Khan.

A film like this is ideal for the superstar. This film was praised for its captivating plot, well-developed characters, and wonderful music. Bringing a sequel to this film might take Salman’s career to its peak again.

Ready:

Released in 2011 The film Ready, starring Salman Khan and Asin is a classic, family drama that we thought had passed its prime in the 1980s. However, let us not forget that masala entertainers are still the first choice of the average Indian moviegoer. The same masala entertainer dish is served with a fresh tadka in this film. A dash of humour, upbeat music, and Salman’s star power, resulted the film as a wonderful one.

Ready was a box office success. There were rumours about this romcom which is directed by Anees Bazmee, getting a sequel, with Salman Khan reprising his role. But nothing of the sort happened, and we hope the film gets a sequel because it will undoubtedly bring Salman’s massy entertainers back into the spotlight.
