Kangana Ranaut may have experienced a setback in her career with Dhaakad, but she intends to comeback with the next movie Emergency, which is about the state of emergency that was declared in India from 1975 to 1977. In the movie, Kangana plays the part of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
However, the film has now landed in trouble as BJP leader Subramanian Swamy now has taken a dig at the film. When a social media user took to his Twitter account and wrote about Kangana’s film, “Three Heroes of Emergency:

To this, the BJP leader replied saying, “We will then find out if she will stand up to PMO’s directions. For all that I know about Bollywood, as with Ram Setu fraudulent films, Emergency may show Modi coming into Parliament, making a point of order and disappearing. Kangana is now a member of BJP National Committee.”

This is not the first time that Subramanian took a dig at a Bollywood film that too films of actors who are close to right wing. Earlier, he targetted Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu. He announced that he will file a lawsuit against the actor and the movie’s producers for “falsifying the portrayal of the Ram Setu issue” in the movie. The politician added that he planned to ask the producers for compensation.
“The suit for compensation has been finalised by my associate Satya Sabharwal Adv. I am suing Akshay Kumar, actor & Karma Media for damages caused by falsification in the portrayal of the Ram Setu issue in their film for release,” Swamy tweeted. “If actor Akshay Kumar is a foreign citizen then we can ask he be arrested and evicted from his adopted country,” he said in a follow-up tweet.
