The trailer of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, was released yesterday on November 23 and has created a sensation among the fans and cinephiles on social media.
The trailer, which is over three minutes long, showcases Ranbir Kapoor in a violent and obsessive avatar, as he seeks revenge from his father Anil Kapoor and his rival Bobby Deol. The film, which is slated to release on December 1, is expected to be a gritty and dark action thriller with a twisted father-son relationship at its core.
Animal Set To Open With Massive Numbers
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has created fantastic buzz with such an amazing trailer. Netizens are going mad and advance booking started on a brisk note. Full fledge advances will start from Sunday. Film is pegged to open around 38-40 cr nett in India going by the craze and even overseas advances are very encouraging. Film can become biggest hit for Ranbir Kapoor and can challenge lot of box office records.

Film has long running time of 3 hours 21 minutes which can be issue for programmers at multiplexes. Film will get 15-20% less shows due to such a long running time. Also film is clashing with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. No matter how low Sam Bahadur opens, still it will get lot of shows at multiplexes as this film will be endorsed by family audience in a big way.
Running time and clash factor might hurt film over opening weekend as film will certain to face capacity issues by 25% and collections will be affected. It means that film will have demand but there will NOT be enough occupancy available for the audience to watch it due to length and clash.
Still film is such a force at the moment that nothing can stop film from becoming a super hit and only question remains whether it will become blockbuster or not!
