Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa’ is releasing tomorrow and yesterday it was announced that the teaser of much delayed Ajay Devgn’s next ‘Maidaan’ will release tomorrow along with ‘Bholaa’. Helmed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor, Maidaan stars Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Rudranil Ghosh. The sports drama film ‘Maidaan’ is based on the golden era of Indian football. AR Rahman and Amit Trivedi have worked on its music, with Zee studios as distributor.

1. The duration of the teaser is 1 minute 30 seconds
2. It was censored on January 5, 2023 as film was scheduled for early release back then.
3. The best dialogue of the teaser is by Ajay Devgn at the end of the teaser “Aaj Maidaan Mein Utarana Gyarah, Par Dikhna Ek”.
4. Teaser starts with the commentator announcing a crucial football match in 1950’s which Indian team plays in Olympics against Yugoslavia, that too barefoot.

Ajay had stated that it’s one of his career best films and International studios is managing the VFX. The makers think it requires a big and proper release. It has been delayed multiple times as first it was scheduled to release in 2020, then June 2022, and February 17, 2023. The sports drama will be released on May 12, 2023.
