Color Yellow Productions produced the direct-to-digital release Haseen Dillruba starring Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu which was a moderate success and revived decent reviews.
Now our sources close to the production house told us that this film is set to get a sequel. The sequel’s script will be written by Kanika Dhillon once more, and she may also take on the role of producer. The film will begin filming somewhere in north India around the end of this year.
The movie’s major actors, Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu, will return to play their respective parts in the sequel. But the most startling news is that a prominent actor from the South or Bollywood will play a dashing part alongside the lead couple.

For the uninitiated, Haseen Dillruba was a tale of Taapsee and Vikrant, a wholly unsuitable couple who wed following an arranged marriage meet. When Taapsee’s character develops feelings for her husband’s cousin, played by Harshvardhan Rane, things start to go wrong. Haseen Dillruba reportedly become the most watched Hindi movie on Netflix in 2021.
