The year 2023 started with a bang for Shah Rukh Khan as he made a return to the big screen after nearly five years with Pathaan. The action-packed film was directed by Siddharth Anand and also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Pathaan went on to become a major commercial success, grossing more than 1,000 crores at the global box office.
Now, the superstar has once again collaborated with Siddharth for an advertising film for Thumbs Up. The ad is directed by Siddharth and features Shah Rukh Khan who has been the brand ambassador for the Thumbs Up brand for the past two-three years. In the previous ads, we have seen SRK in an action avatar doing some breath-taking action sequences.

The Ad Reportedly Features A Ship
According to insider sources, the ad features a sequence involving a ship. Before the release of the highly successful Pathaan, Siddharth had directed another ad film for Thumbs Up which featured a train sequence. A similar sequence was seen in Pathaan featuring Shah Rukh Khan. If the reports are to be believed, we can speculate that in Siddharth’s next film, we might get to witness a scene involving a ship since the director loves to follow a pattern. Now that the shooting of the ad is done (it was finished yesterday), fans are waiting with bated breath for it to go on air since the combo of Siddharth’s tight direction and SRK’s charm does wonders on screen. The filming took place at YRF studio and in Mumbai’s Filmcity.

SRK And Salman To Reunite In Tiger vs Pathaan
Towards the end of Pathaan, Salman Khan shows up to save Pathaan as Tiger from the Tiger franchise. Ever since that film came out, fans have been speculating if we will ever get to see Tiger vs Pathaan, which is the biggest Bollywood crossover. The film will be a part of the YRF spy universe which continues to grow. Fans are eagerly anticipating this action-packed thriller and witnessing Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s magic on screen.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is gearing up for the release of Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanya Malhotra. It will be released theatrically on 7 September. After that, he will appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy-drama film Dunki, along with Taapsee Pannu. Dunki will release during the Christmas week of December.
