Atlee Kumar directed film is an upcoming action entertainer movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Nayanthara. Sethupathi will play the antagonist opposite King Khan. It was slated to be released on June 2, 2023 in five languages, marking Shah Rukh’s first pan India film.
We bring you the exclusive update that the Jawan has been postponed. It would be released in October on 2nd of the month on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, otherwise coinciding on Dusshera (October 24). The reason for deferment is heavy VFXs, a lot of post-production which is left.
Makers and Shah Rukh do not want to offer a substandard product and shoot will be over by April. The 2nd October has high chances though makers don’t want it to have a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar, which is set to hit the screen on September 28, 2023 so it might hit cinemas in last week of October.
This will also mean that now YRF’s Tiger 3 in which SRK has special role will be releasing with only one month of gap from ‘Jawan’. Also SRK’s next Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki will also come with 60 days of Jawan.
Besides, rumours suggest there is a double role of Shah Rukh Khan and it has been speculated that it is of an elder character which Shah Rukh Khan will be essaying in the film.
