After piquing the curiosity of fans by dropping intriguing posters and teaser, Producer Karan Johar and Guneet Monga now unveiled the sneak peek of their upcoming film titled Kill. The movie has had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and has received rave reviews.

The movie also marks the debut of actor Lakshya Lalwani. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the movie will release in theatres on 5 July.

Kill: Plot

‘Kill’ unfolds entirely on an express train bound for New Delhi. Indian army commandos Amrit (played by Lakshya) and Viresh (Abhishek Chauhan) embark on a mission to rescue Amrit’s girlfriend, Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). However, they are unaware that 40 bandits onboard are plotting to rob the passengers, leading to a brutal face-off. The train becomes a battleground, soaked in blood and sweat, as survival hangs in the balance.

The official website of TIFF website wrote about the film, “In Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s relentless martial arts thriller, a passenger train bound for New Delhi becomes a bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat as a pair of commandos square off against a 40-strong army of invading bandits. Star-crossed lovers Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) and Amrit (Lakshya) find their clandestine relationship jeopardised after Tulika’s family whisks her aboard the Rajdhani Express bound for both New Delhi and an arranged marriage.”

It added, ” Not willing to sit idly by, Amrit and his fellow commando buddy Viresh embark on a romantic “rescue” mission. But when the train is suddenly stormed by a gang of blade-wielding bandits, the stakes are considerably raised, and the two friends must rely on their martial arts prowess to dispatch the thieves and save the passengers.”
