EXCLUSIVE: Tere Ishk Mein: 2 Hours 49 Minutes Runtime With ‘12A’ Certificate Due To Moderate Violence, Threat, Suicide References; Kriti Sanon Plays A Psychologist Opposite Violent Young Man Dhanush

Riding a wave of unstoppable buzz, Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, backed by Bhushan Kumar, is already shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest cinematic events. With A.R. Rahman’s musical genius at its core and the magnetic pairing of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film has captured fan frenzy long before its release.

Whether it was the teaser, or even the recently launched trailer, every glimpse from the film has only intensified the excitement around Rahman’s song album, building a sense of musical grandeur around a movie’s release like never before. Film’s advance booking has also started on a positive note.

Runtime And Censor Certification Of Tere Ishk Mein

Tere Ishk Mein clears BBFC with an “12A” due to moderate violence, threat, injury detail, language, suicide references.

Film has runtime of 2 hours 49 minutes 17 seconds (169 mins 17 sec) which is long considering love stories in recent times. Though this might not hurt the film if it can manage to hold.

Tere Ishk Mein: Synopsis

Film’s synopsis reads on censor’s website as following:

“Romantic drama in which a psychology student attempts to rehabilitate a volatile young man.”

Psychology angle was there in Atrangi Re too which really messed up the film. Kriti Sanon plays a psychologist and Dhanush plays a violent man. Seems like an interesting plot but has dark elements which might not be that box office friendly.
