We broke EXCLUSIVE news yesterday that Color Yellow Production’s Haseen Dillruba is all set to get its sequel.
The first part was a direct-to-digital release and was moderately appreciated by critics and audience. Now it’s sequel has been planned and it will go on the floors by the end of December.
The original cast of Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu to return with the sequel and they will be joined by one more actor.
According our sources, two actors have been approached to play the role. Arjun Kapoor has been offered the role but he hasn’t met the makers for the same yet and he will take final decision after he finishes promoting his upcoming multi-starrer Ek Villain Returns.
Also, South star Dulquer Salmaan is also in the race to play the role and he might be hearing the script soon but things are still on the initial stage.
For the uninitiated, Haseen Dillruba was a tale of Taapsee and Vikrant, a wholly unsuitable couple who wed following an arranged marriage meet. When Taapsee’s character develops feelings for her husband’s cousin, played by Harshvardhan Rane, things start to go wrong. Haseen Dillruba reportedly become the most watched Hindi movie on Netflix in 2021.
