Varun Dhawan belongs to a prolific film family. His father David Dhawan delivered numerous blockbusters as director with Govinda and Salman Khan. His brother Rohit Dhawan directed films like ‘Dishoom’, ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Shehzada’ in last few years. Bollywood buffs also know that his uncle Anil Dhawan was fairly successful actor in 70’s and 80’s with films like ‘Piya Ka Ghar’ and recently released ‘Andhadhun’.
Now next generation from Dhawan family is gearing up for show business. Anjini Dhawan, grand daughter of Anil Dhawan, has finished shooting for her debut film. Yes we bring you this EXCLUSIVE news is that she has chosen an independent film to make debut rather than being launched by a big banner like Dharma or YRF.
Anjini Dhawan finished shooting for her debut film opposite legendary actor Pankaj Kapoor. Film is emotional family drama and revolves around a grandfather and granddaughter played by Pankaj Kapoor and Anjini Dhawan respectively. Film is tentatively titled ‘Baba Aur Binny’ and is directed by Sanjay Tripathy who directed ‘Club 60’ (2013) starting Late Farooq Sheikh and Sarika.
Film was shot in London and India. Anjini Dhawan’s this debut film is slated to release later this year as film is in post production now. Film is produced by Waveband Production who also produced ‘Dukaan’ directed by Siddharth – Garima.

Anjini Dhawan recently shared a bunch of photos from her recent beach getaway with her friend. In the photos, Anjini looked stunning in a pristine white bikini, as she posed against the backdrop of the azure blue water. Right from giving a glimpse of the food, to petty sunsets, Anjini shared it all. She also added a gorgeous sun-kissed selfie in the series of photos. While Suhana Khan liked the post, fans and well-wishers went on to call her ‘Gorgeous,’ ‘Hottie’ and ‘Pure Perfection’. One of them even wrote, “prettiest in that bikini.”
