Helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, Govinda Naam Mera stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Aparshakti Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Veena Nair. It released on December 16 on Disney plus hotstar.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie stars Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan. The Maddock Production’s untitled movie will be released early this year. The duo has been liked by many for the chemistry they share on screen. It has chances to take the OTT route directly. This film was over long back last year but makers are still unsure about title to its release date. Maddock film‘s last release ‘Bhediya’ also remained mediocre at box office.
Another Vicky’s film could do the same by releasing it on OTT post limited theatrical release which was directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya starring Manushi Chillar. It had begun shooting a week after Pathaan went on floors in 2020. It marks Vicky’s first film with YRF and completed shooting in February 2021. He had said, “What an absolute joyride this one’s been! Wish I could share more details… ab ke liye itna hi.”
Looking at the recent Box-office performances of lots of mid-sized films, makers are unlikely to release it in theatres. YRF could release a small scale like ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. However, Maddock hasn’t announced anything so far officially. The anticipation around these films of Vicky has been decreasing day-by-day for moviegoers and his fans.
In addition to this, Vicky is shooting for Meghna Gulazar directorial which is biopic of Sam Maneckshaw.
