After playing Government worker in Gulabo Sitabo, Vijay Raaz is all set to star in an exclusive OTT project.
According to the information, Vijay will be seen playing lead character in director Raja Krishna Menon’s next Netflix series.
The new project is said to be a dark comedy about Godmen culture and Raaz will be playing a new-age spiritual guru who thrives on the ignorance of the masses.
As per the reports may follow the lines of Satyajit Ray’s 1965 Bengali film Mahapurush. The story of the film tells the tale of a religious Hindu family that falls prey to a fraudulent god-man.
This will be the second collaboration of Memon with Vijay Raaz after comedy-drama Barah Aana, which was released in 2009.
