Exclusive: Why Salman Khan Starrer Tiger 3 Can Suffer Obstacles Of Cricket World Cup Semi Final & Final And Diwali On Sunday

The Diwali festival, which is celebrated with much fanfare in India, falls on November 12, which is a Sunday.

The highly anticipated release of Salman Khan’s action-packed film, Tiger 3, could face some major obstacles due to the upcoming cricket World Cup semi-final and the Diwali festival falling on the same day.

The release date of the film, which was originally planned for November 10, may now face significant challenges due to the packed calendar of events during the festive season. The Diwali festival, which is celebrated with much fanfare in India, falls on November 12, which is a Sunday, followed by a big holiday on Monday, November 13. So big holiday advantage of Monday will be there but no extra Sunday boost and also it might have a big cricket match.

Adding to the challenges, the first week of November is also the time when the cricket World Cup semi-finals are scheduled, and there is a high likelihood that the Indian team will be playing in one of these matches. The final of the World Cup is also set to take place on November 19, which coincides with the Chhath Puja festival, another significant event in the calendar. So that Sunday and Chath Pooja will diffuse the holiday boost.

The crowded schedule during this period is likely to impact the box office performance of Tiger 3. However, despite these obstacles, the team behind the movie is optimistic about its success considering all films of YRF’s Spy Universe has broken all records one after another.

The mystery-action is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Besides Salman Khan, it stars Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, Rehan Katrawale.
