Yami Gautam, known for Uri, Dasvi, Kaabil, Sanam Re, Ginny Weds Sunny, Badlapur, A Thursday, became prominent for Glow & Lovely and started her acting career in television shows, followed by South Indian films and later shifted to Bollywood.
She has been starring in movies which are direct to digital release, making her better and smarter professionally. Considering her films from 2020 to now, the record speaks of consistency of the medium for her releases. In 2020, Ginny Weds Sunny film was released on Netflix. Bhoot Police released on Disney plus hotstar in 2021. In 2022, A Thursday, Dasvi were released on Disney Plus Hotstar and Netflix, respectively.
Speaking of her upcoming, she announced on her birthday yesterday that Lost will be released on Zee5. Her next Maddock Films’ Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga will be released on Netflix, with “Ray” fame Siraj Ahmed having written it. In comparison, other actresses were flop in the past.
