Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to make a comeback on big screens after a gap of two years with his family entertainer, ‘Annaatthe’. Directed by Siva, ‘Annaatthe’ is ready for a big opening in Tamil Nadu as the pre-bookings are immensely growing all across the market.

As per the advance booking trends, the film is releasing in over 752 shows across Chennai. The Thalaiva fans are so excited that the houseful board is already up on 334 shows, with more than 390 being in the fast-filling stage and expected to be a full house by the end of the day. ‘Annaatthe’s first show will be out as early as 4 AM tomorrow in India, where morning shows at some places are already houseful.
The insiders from the market suggest that a Rs 20 crore day one is assured and if the tier 2 and 3 cities record on counter sale at a speedy pace then there is a chance of it breaching past the Rs 25 crore mark in Tamil Nadu alone. It’s releasing on nearly 1100 screens in the overseas market with a domestic release on 2200 plus screens.
