Recently it was reported that Narcotics Control Bureau while questioning Rhea Chakraborty received names of Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh being involved in drugs. However, the latest reports of NCB has confirmed that there are no such findings as of yet. It was also reported earlier that actress has named around 25 Bollywood celebs and confessed that they take drugs.
Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and even Dil Bechara director Mukesh Chhabra started receiving a huge backlash ever since the news break. However, turns out that it was just a rumor and nothing is true about the news.
Earlier, NCB’s director KPS Malhotra, “We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list earlier prepared was of peddlers and traffickers. It’s getting confused with Bollywood. The names have not been zeroed upon.”
Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, the man, leading NCB team in Mumbai, as per a leading daily report has confirmed that there are no names of celebrities on the site as of now.
“We are currently focusing on the drug peddlers who are part of the larger syndicate. No celebrity name has surfaced during our probe, and nobody has been summoned so far,” Wankhede said.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea has been rejected by the court. Earlier, the actress had stated in her plea that the NCB coerced her into making incriminating statements during the interrogation.
