On Sunday, T-series posted a teaser of a song titled ‘O Sajna’ by Neha Kakkar, which is said to be a remake of Maine Payal Hai Chhankai from the 90’s, a Falguni Pathak’s song. However, netizens berated her on the recreation songs. The song features Priyank Sharma, Dhanashree Verma.
Pathak, who is well-known for ‘Pal Pal Teri Yaad’, ‘Jhoom Jhoom’, ‘Aiyo Rama’ among others, took to her Instagram and shared multiple stories of her fans slamming her for creating a remake song. Among the posts she shared, users had mentioned things like: ‘stop torturing us with your voice and with the remakes’, ‘Thank you s***ing once again on one of my fave classics’, and ‘it cringes me watching O Sajna by Neha Kakkar’.

The original iconic “Maine Payal Hai Chhankai” was part of Falguni’s 1999 album of the same name. Now, fans speculate Pathak has clearly shown displeasure over Neha’s remake song. However, Pathak hasn’t revealed any official statement yet.
