Stoping all the speculation now it has been reported that the ambitious project of Farah Khan to remake Raj N Sippy’s Amitabh Bachchan blockbuster Satte Pe Satta has now been pulled off.
According to the reports the filmmaker failed to find the lead man for the film. She first reportedly asked Hrithik Roshan for the role who didn’t come up with an answer and finally didn’t gave his nod, apparently because he didn’t want to do another Bachchan remake after Agneepath.
Then Farah asked Akshay Kumar for the role along with Shah Rukh Khan but failed with both the actors.
Now as she was left with no major options she apparently decided to put her Satte Pe Satta remake to rest.
There also reports that the new-age copyright rules make it difficult for anyone to do an unauthorized remake, “Back in 1982 Raj Sippy made an unofficial remake of Stanley Donen’s Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. But now with the copyright rules being so rigid it would be difficult do Satte Pe Satta without the relevant legal permission,” a daily quoted a source as saying.
