Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment announced a multi-year strategic relationship with Netflix today. This collaboration complements Netflix’s dynamic and diversified series lineup in India.

Excel Entertainment, a pioneer in on-demand long-form storytelling, will develop a variety of stories for Netflix users in over 190 countries under its series umbrella Excel Media & Entertainment, starting with two projects provisionally dubbed Dabba Cartel and Queen of the Hill. The narrative of five housewives who run a high-stakes covert cartel is told in Dabba Cartel. Queen of the Hill is a film about style, ambition, love, friendship, and betrayal set in the jazz-rich 1960s Mumbai. It follows the dynamic relationship between two ambitious women who will change the city forever.
