After Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Farhan Akhtar is all set to bring another road trip film. This time actor-filmmaker will take onboard female protagonists for the journey.
According to the reports Farhan is ready to again sit on the director’s chair hen years after Don 2. Farhan is working on the film for quite some time now. Now it seems that he has locked the script and concept.
A source was quoted as saying, “While Farhan acted in ZNMD, this time around, he will be directing this yet-untitled film. It is written by him and Zoya, and though the concept of road trip remains the same, the narrative is diametrically different from what they did in the 2011 film.”
The source further revealed, “They have locked on the broad idea of this story through the lockdown.”
If we believe in the report then the film may go on floors by next year as Farhan Akhtar have some acting complete commitments before that.
The actor is set to star in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed Toofan and the actor will also start shooting for the Rakesh Sharma biopic, Saare Jahan Se Acha soon.
There are also possibilities that Alia Bhatt will be seen in Farhan Akhtar directed film as one of the three protagonists.
“He has discussed the probable collaboration with Alia, and she is definitely excited to come on board the film. More meetings will take place throughout the year, and everyone is optimistic about this association to work out,” the source added.
While nothing has been officially announced, we are excited to see a girls trip from Farhan’s vision.
