Directed by Krishna DK, Raj Nidimoru, Farzi stars Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi. It is set to be released on February 10, 2023 on Amazon Prime, also marking Vijay’s OTT debut.
Its action-packed trailer has been released, where Shahid acts as Conman, Vijay as a law enforcement officer attempting to chase him down. It seems to be cat and mouse race between the duo. It showcases Shahid and his team making ‘nakli notes (counterfeits)’ and become rich overnight. Flaunting his new-found attitude to ‘break the system’, where the rich continue getting richer and the poor only pay for loans, the actor stated, “We are not middle-class, we’re the middle-finger class.”
