Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding, one of Bollywood’s most eagerly awaited nuptials, has been the topic of news reports for the past week. The social media videos and pictures from the Shershaah couple’s wedding festivities went viral, and fans couldn’t stop fawning over them. The couple tied the knot on 7th February whereas they had a wedding reception at Mumbai on 12th. Many B-Town celebrities attended their wedding reception. Whereas Karan Johar, who is good friends with the bride and groom and is one of the many guests, was present at all of the events, including their Mumbai reception.
According to a source, the couple, who are both Dharma-house stars, inked a contract with the production company after getting married. According to recent rumors, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have agreed to a three-film contract with Dharma Productions. Even though neither the actors nor the producers have discussed it, rumors suggest that the couple will be working together in musical rom-com movies. Shershaah, a movie on the life of Vikram Batra, was the only film Sidharth and Kiara did together.
Since the couple has collaborated with the director since the beginning of their Bollywood careers, Karan Johar has served as a mentor of sorts for them. Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with the director’s Student Of The Year while Kiara rose to popularity with the Karan Johar anthology flick ‘Lust Stories’. It’s interesting to note that Kiara was also referred to as Dharma’s ‘lucky mascot’ by Karan during the ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ promotions.
On the professional front, Sidharth Malhotra is anticipated to appear in Yodha, a film that is also made under the Dharma Productions. Starring Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna, it is anticipated to be an action comedy. Speaking of Kiara, the actress will soon be featured in the multilingual Ram Charan film RC15. She also has the romantic drama ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, starring Kartik Aaryan, in the lead.
