Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming horror-comedy is going from a different kind of crisis. The movie has suffered from multiple name changes and it’s not at all from what it started. This is the second time that the team has changed the title but it seems this is the final one.
Makers released yesterday a lineup of their films in 2020 and we saw them renaming of the title. The movie was titled as Rooh Afza since the beginning. A horror comedy giving a hint at ‘Rooh’ from the title.
Avoiding any future controversies and objections from the beverage brand, the makers changed the name to Roohi Afza. Now, the makers have changed the titled to Roohi Afzana which seems like a random move by the makers. It seems they’re trying to fit in ‘Afsana’ keeping the flavour of Rooh Afza intact.
From Imtiaz Ali’s tentatively titled ‘Aaj Kal‘ to Irrfan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘Angrezi Medium‘, all were mentioned in the video released by Maddock Films. The video revealed the new title ‘Roohi Afzana‘. Maddock Films captioned this video, “Maddock Films wishes all of you a very Happy New Year! 🥳🥳. This #2020 see you at the movies!🍿🎥 #dineshvijan”.
