Amid the coronavirus pandemic where the theaters were shut from almost 6-7 months and people were missing the fun of watching film on the big screens Government has allowed to open the cinema halls with 50% capacity. While, icing on the top is some of the iconic YRF films like Veer Zaara, Ek Tha Tiger & others are set to Re-release on the big screen.
According to the information, all parties have agreed to cap the ticket price to just Rs. 50 for all films because YRF and the exhibitors want people to come back to the theatres.
Since the coronavirus pandemic has forced the exhibition industry revenue come to a stand-still after Central and statat COVID-19 guidelines kept theatres shut across India.
Now with the collective aim to restart the theatrical business the Yash Raj Films Big Screen Celebration initiative has brought the top multiplex chains to come under one roof.
With the same aim Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani will also hit the theatre screens. YRF is planning to release these movies during the Diwali week. The re-releases have been dated from November 12 to November 19. So it’s a full week for the fans to enjoy.
Another good news is that these YRF movies will not charge any fees. It is applied in the cinema halls like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis.
