Gadar 2: Low-Intensity Bombs Thrown Outside A Cinema In Patna; Details Inside

Some troublemakers caused a commotion today at a single screen cinema hall in Patna, Bihar, where the latest hit movie Gadar 2 is being shown. They also hurled two low intensity bombs outside the hall, one of which exploded. The police have arrested the two culprits who were involved in the disturbance and the bombing. No one was injured in the incident.

Cinema Owner Confirms Black Market Racket Behind ‘Gadar 2’ Bombing

According to Bollywood Hungama , Regent Cinema is the theatre where the incident happened. Suman Sinha, the owner of the hall, verified the event and that a few people who wanted to sell Gadar 2 tickets in the black market were behind the trouble.

He said, “This keeps happening. People with wrong intentions do come in. They were wanting that we allow them to black market movie tickets, which we can’t. We want every ticket to be given to the public. They tried to bully my staff. The staff of cinema hall is never weak. They have the moral guts to obstruct wrongdoers. Nothing serious has happened. They tried to. But they were all caught by the police and taken to task.”

Confirming the blast of two low intensity bombs, Sinha added, “They blasted it away from our cinema hall. They were the same people. They were trying to push our staff. They wanted us to allow them to go wrong (tasks). We never allow (black marketing) and we are never a party to all this. They ran away after the police came. Before running away, they threw the (bombs).”

Gadar 2 Is Heading For 290 Cr Week One

After its sixth day in theaters, the film has amassed an impressive total of 261.35 crore rupees. If the current trend continues, it is projected to rake in an additional 25 crore rupees tomorrow, potentially reaching a phenomenal 290 crore rupees within its first week. This figure secures its place as the second-highest opening week ever, trailing only behind ‘Pathaan’. Looking ahead, the film holds promising prospects of surpassing ‘Pathaan’ and becoming the all-time highest-grossing movie, especially considering its upcoming open week at the box office. With only ‘Dreamgirl 2’ posing competition in the third week, the path seems clear for the film’s ascent to the pinnacle of box office success.
