Gadar 2 Trailer: Sunny Deol Is Trying To Bring His Son From Pakistan In This Action-Packed Drama

Sunny Deol delivered one of the biggest hits of the year 2001 with Gadar. Co-starring Ameesha Patel, the film follows the story of Tara Singh who falls in love with a Muslim woman during the 1947 India-Pakistan partition. The film was one of the highest-grosser of that year. Now, the makers are coming up with its sequel titled Gadar 2, where both Sunny and Ameesha are reprising their roles.

Today, the much-awaited trailer of the film dropped on the internet. It was released in Mumbai during an event. The around three-minute-long trailer showcases Tara Singh’s now grownup son going to Pakistan in the 1970s. Tara then goes to Pakistan to get back his son. The trailer has some of the best moments from the entire film including dialogues, fight sequences and emotional bonding between the father and son.

A Motion Poster Was Released Recently

Last week, the makers released a motion poster of the film which features Sunny and his on-screen son played by Utkarsh Sharma. The two can be seen running for their lives amid gunfire and explosions. The poster’s tagline reads “A father’s love knows no boundaries” and it shows both Sunny and Utkarsh, in a rugged look, running while several bullets are fired at them. Amid the firing and explosions, the on-screen father-son duo is holding hands and Sunny can be seen saying ‘Hindustan Zindabad’. So far, the makers have also released two songs from the film. Both the songs and the film’s posters have been well received by the audiences. People are now eager to watch the film in the theatres.

About Gadar 2

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma who also directed the highly successful first installment. It marks a reunion of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel once again on the big screen. This time, Tara Singh goes to Pakistan to bring his son in 1971. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on August 11th. It will clash at the ticket window with Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2. Both films are highly anticipated and the clash will be interesting to witness.
