Soori’s Tamil action thriller Garudan continues to soar high at the Indian box office, raking in an impressive Rs. 9.25 crore in its second weekend.
Despite a 45% drop from its first weekend collections, the film managed to maintain a strong grip on the box office. However, the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan World Cup match did affect Sunday’s growth, hindering the film’s potential earnings.
With a total gross of Rs 38 crore in India over ten days, Garudan stands on the cusp of reaching the coveted Rs 50 crore mark, provided it holds up well against next week’s competition.
Garudan Eyeing On Rs 50 Crore Mark
Internationally, Garudan has also performed admirably, grossing approximately USD 750K (Rs. 6.25 crore), pushing its worldwide total to Rs 44 crore. It’s almost certain that the film will breach the Rs 50 crore milestone during the weekdays.
