Following the sleeper success that was Ginny Weds Sunny in 2020, producer Vinod Bachchan is leaning into the romance genre again with the official sequel, Ginny Weds Sunny 2. While the original included Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam, the sequel perfects a brand new pair, with Kaala star Avinash Tiwary and new breakout star Medha Shankar from 12th Fail.

The announcement came with a cute reveal on social media when both Avinash and Medha shared adorable clapboard photos from their lush shoot location in Uttarakhand. The film has gone on floors officially, and fans are already guessing about the chemistry of the new lead couple!
Bachchan, who produces fan-favourite romance dramas like Tanu Weds Manu and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, expressed his excitement:
