Good news for SRK fans is that after a whole day of mayhem, NCB has decided not to seek Aryan Khan’s police custody furthermore. Reports say that the moment Aryan Khan will be sent to judicial custody tomorrow (Monday) his lawyers would apply for his bail. Reportedly, the NCB will not pursue the case any further.
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested by NCB after they were questioned on Saturday on a cruise ship off Mumbai coast.
Aryan was presented before the Killa court along with others on Sunday evening. He was represented by senior advocate Satish Manshinde. The NCB Counsel, while agreeing that the offences are bailable, sought for remand till October 5, but court ordered Aryan and two others a one day custody.
The lawyer Maneshinde had argued in the court for Aryan Khan:
- My client was invited by the organisers.
- He had no boarding pass.
- Nothing was found with him.
- His mobile instrument was examined.
- Nothing was found in subsequent tests
Reportedly, Aryan Khan was charged under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
