Hanuman Ansh Ott Buzz: Why The Makers Say There Is No Rs 100 Crore Streaming Deal

A fresh wave of chatter around Hanuman Ansh suggested the sleeper devotional hit had already landed a massive Rs 100 crore OTT deal. The makers, however, have now firmly pushed back on that claim. Producer Ragini Sona has said there is no such confirmed offer on the table, cutting through the frenzy at a moment when the film’s theatrical run is still gathering momentum.

Producer Denies The Rs 100 Crore Ott Claim

The clarification comes after social media buzz linked Hanuman Ansh with a blockbuster digital sale. Addressing the speculation, Ragini Sona said, “It’s all rumours” and “ऐसा कोई ऑफर नहीं और हम चाहते भी नहीं.” With that, the producer made it clear that the team is in no rush to feed OTT speculation while the film is still drawing audiences in theatres.

That position also underlines the confidence around the film’s theatrical journey. Rather than shifting the conversation to streaming numbers, the makers are keeping the spotlight on audience response and the film’s continued momentum at the box office.

Theatrical Run Remains The Priority

There is movement on the digital front, but not in the dramatic form recent chatter suggested. The makers have indicated that conversations with platforms are happening, yet no Rs 100 crore agreement has been locked. The message from the team is simple: when a deal is finalised, they will announce it themselves.

That update lands at a time when Hanuman Ansh has already become one of 2026’s most closely watched Hindi box office stories. The film released in India on August 7, 2026, and after opening to a modest start, it surged through word of mouth. It has now crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India, a remarkable feat for a film mounted on a very small budget.

What Hanuman Ansh Is About

Hanuman Ansh is a Hindi devotional drama inspired by the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba. The film was written, directed and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi. Shobhinaw Satyaa plays the lead role in the film.

The story follows a spiritual path shaped by faith and transformation, giving the film a devotional core that has connected strongly with its audience. Its theatrical rise has also pushed it beyond the domestic market. The film’s overseas release was set for September 11, 2026, with Hombale Overseas backing the international rollout.

What The Clarification Means For The Film’s Next Phase

Ragini Sona’s denial has effectively reset the conversation around Hanuman Ansh. Instead of an oversized OTT number dominating the headlines, the focus is back on the film’s current strength in cinemas and how long its theatrical run can stretch from here.

That also means any eventual streaming deal is likely to carry even more attention once the makers choose to reveal it officially. For now, Hanuman Ansh remains a theatrical success first, and the producer’s blunt clarification has made one thing clear: the next major update will come from the team, not from the rumour mill.
