Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames & Cape of Good Films, Selfiee stars Akshay Kumar, Diana Penty, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha. Both Akshay and Emraan are collaborating for the first time. The film is set to release on February 24, 2023.
The latest bollywood news is that after PM Modi told party workers not to make remarks on films to grab headlines, Akshay stated that PM Modi is India’s biggest influencer, further saying positive is welcome.
“Positivity is always welcome. And if our Prime Minister is saying something like this. He is India’s biggest influencer. If he is saying something and if things change it’ll be great for the industry. And why not, things should change, because we go through so much,” said Akshay at the trailer launch of Selfiee.
He added, “We make films, go to the censor board, get them passed and then someone says something and phir gadbad ho jati hai (it becomes messy). But now that he’s said it, I think it’ll be better for us.”
