Vivaan Shah who rose to prominence with Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year is all set to be seen in Vishal Mishra’s upcoming film Ae Kaash Ke Hum. The genre of the film is a romantic tragedy which Vivaan feels is very rare to come out of Bollywood.
Vivaan said, ”Ae Kaash Ke Hum is a very sweet romantic film, more a heart-wrenching romantic tragedy than a romantic comedy. It’s really a throwback to the kind of films that aren’t made anymore.”
Before this director, Vishal Mishra has helmed some very interesting movies like Sunil Grover’s Coffee With D, Marudhar Express & Hotel Milan. Debutante Priya Singh will be Vivaan’s leading lady in the film, while Sophiya Singh has a very pivotal role to play. Poster of the film was unveiled recently.
On the director and co-actors, Vivaan said “Vishal Mishra is a very poetic director and it was a treat to work with the great cinematographer Anshul Chaubey, who really made each frame look like a painting. Priya Singh is a fantastic young actress who is full of emotional intensity and spontaneity as is the rest of the wonderful cast,” said Vivaan.
