Kangan Ruby: Himesh Reshammiya’s nasal voice, cliche music & dated shoot make this cringeworthy song from Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan unbearable

The film is set to hit screens on 11th August 2022.

The first song of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Raksha Bandhan, Tere Saath Hoon Main, was released a few days ago. The film sees the actor in the role of the older brother of four sisters and the song was beautiful and was perfectly matched given the story of the film. The Aanand L Rai film is a social comedy about dowry and weddings. The song Tere Saath Hoon Main focused on what a brother goes through when his sister is getting married.

Now makers have released another song from the film titled Kangan Ruby featuring Akshay and Bhumi Pednekar. However, the song, which is touted to be a romantic track looks dated. With Himesh Reshammiya’s nasal voice and cliche music, the song seems cringeworthy and unbearable.

Written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, the Aanand L Rai directorial Rakshabandhan has been co-produced by Aanand L Rai, Alka Hiranandanai and ZEE Studios. It is Presented by Colour Yellow, ZEE Studios and Cape of Good Films, the film is set to hit screens on 11th August 2022.
