The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress, Hina Khan suffered a great loss last month after her father passed away. Days after her father’s death, the actress tested positive for COVID-19.
As she now recovers and resumes work, she is gearing up for the release of her latest music video, Patthar Wargi, which is her first collaboration with blockbuster duo, B Praak and Jaani.
She recently did an Instagram live session with her fans where she sported her late father’s t-shirt; shared she has tested negative and is on the road to recovery from Covid. Talking about her t-shirt, the actress added, “I am daddy’s strong girl.” She added that it took a lot for her to go live, but she believes that ‘work is worship’.
In an interview with The Times Of India, she also talked about her upcoming music video, Patthar Wargi, “I was in love with the composition as soon as I heard it. It was heart touching and didn’t need much convincing. Patthar Wargi is all about falling in love all over again, and I’m sure my fans will love this one and shower this song with the same love and affection that they always give me.”
Talking about B Praak and Jaani she said, “How easy it was to work with this team. With the composition to the lyrics it was all on point. With B Praak’s composition and singing also the voice of Ranvir and beautifully penned by Jaani, it was a cherry on the cake. The best trio to work with. And Tanmay who’s been an amazing co-star and made things so comfortable for me. Couldn’t have asked for more.”
Patthar Wargi also features Tanmay Ssingh, in addition to Hina Khan. Sung by Ranvir, Patthar Wargi has been composed by B Praak. Lyrics are by Jaani. The teaser of the song was released on May 12.
