An unexpected incident created a huge chaos at the set of Mission: Impossible 7, when a motorbike caught fire on the £2 million set.
Tom Cruise’s starrer was halted after a stuntman’s bike exploded after being driven off a huge ramp.
Following the incident the 58-year-old actor is said to be furious.
According to the reports Tom had been filming with a parachute in a nearby field for his return as Ethan Hunt.
According to an incider, “This has been a massive challenge to stage and has cost a fortune, not to mention weeks and weeks of construction. But when it came to the big day, it went horribly wrong.”
“The heat and the friction of the tyres meant that when the bike crashed, the cardboard padding sparked and went up in flames. The smoke was so bad they had to close a nearby RAF airfield,” it was further quoted as saying.
As per the information, no one hurt in the accident, Tom is still believed to be raging because it puts a huge delay on production.
“Fortunately, nobody was hurt but it’s a total catastrophe, not to mention extremely expensive for all concerned. Tom is very frustrated. Nobody wants more delays,” the source added.
After the horror accident, it is now likely that the seventh installment of Mission Impossible may not hit the screens no sooner than 2022.
