Even though Housefull 5 received a mixed response at the box office earlier this year, the spirit of the franchise is far from over. As the film gears up for its World TV Premiere, the core cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan, are already looking ahead, teasing fans with hilarious ideas for a potential Housefull 6.
In a recent promotional video shared by the producers, the stars sat down to discuss what the next installment could look like, and their suggestions are as crazy as the films themselves. This fun chat has sparked excitement among fans, hinting that a sixth film might be on the cards.
What Could ‘Housefull 6’ Be About?
The cast let their imaginations run wild with ideas for the next chapter. Riteish Deshmukh pitched a horror-comedy theme, suggesting, “I think Housefull 6 should be a horror comedy, ghosts,” before adding a quirky joke.
Not to be outdone, Akshay Kumar suggested a heavenly twist. “I think the full cast of Housefull will die and then we go up (heaven) so it’s a journey of being in hell and heaven, but they are all housefull,” he said. Abhishek Bachchan chimed in with a superhero concept, saying, “I have a good idea. Housefull 6 should be like a superhero film. All superheroes. A house full of superheroes.”
Looking Back At ‘Housefull 5’
Housefull 5, which was released in June 2025, was a massive production with a huge star cast. While it didn’t meet box office expectations and was considered a flop, it tried something new with a “dual-climax” strategy, offering two different endings (Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B) to its murder mystery plot.
For those who missed it in theatres or want to relive the madness, the film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It will also make its World TV Premiere on October 11 on the Star Gold India channel, giving the whole country a chance to join the fun.
