And now, all eyes are set on 2024, with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor’ film Fighter being the the first big release of the year. Makers Of Fighter Ask Exhibitors To Keep Pricing Similar To Animal
Pricing strategy has become even more important post the pandemic for box office of films. Last year Animal was released with ticket prices similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Pathaan but less than other SRK’s blockbuster Jawan. It proved beneficial as film had massive pre release buzz yet masses managed to afford it.
Now makers of Fighter have asked exhibitors to keep prices of tickets similar to Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster Animal. This means it will be still higher than ticket prices of Gadar 2. Going by advance booking trends, there is buzz around the film but it’s not massive as of now. Though things can change in next couple of days once advances pick up the spread close to the release.
Only time will answer whether this pricing affect the business of Fighter in a good way or not.
Advance Booking Kicks Off On Good Note For Fighter
Advance booking of Hrithik and Deepika starrer Fighter kicked off yesterday in India. Advances started on bright note for the action film and film sold more than 20,000 tickets in three major national chains on day one. Film is targeting 40 cr nett day one opening and for that film needs to cross 3.50-4 lacs tickets in national chains.

PVR + Inox: 16,500
Cinepolis: 3,200
Total: 19,700 tickets
Following is the advance booking in national chains at Sunday, 11 AM:
PVR + Inox: 20,000
Cinepolis: 4,000

Runtime of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter will be 2 hour 46 minutes 35 seconds (166.35 minutes). Film is red hot after fantastic trailer. One can trust Siddharth Anand to deliver a blockbuster film this Republic Day. He did deliver big time last year with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
