In a recent update, Hrithik Roshan has been roped in for YRF’s next thriller that’ll be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The film will be a part of Yash Raj Films’ 50th-anniversary special.
According to the information Hrithik has already agreed for the project and he’ll sign on the dotted line in a few weeks.
The story of the film is said to be based on a true event and Hrithik will be playing a whistle-blower who exposes the Godman.
Presently the makers are waiting for Hrithik to sign the deal. Meanwhile they are finalizing the locations to lock the shooting timelines.
The story is written by Vipul Mehta and Sneha Desai. As per the reports it is based on 1862’s Maharaj Libel Case.
The story looks promising it will be interesting to see Hrithik in a different role.
Since the film is a part of YRF’s 50th-anniversary special projects it is planned to be announced on Yash Chopra’s birthday, September 27!
