Hyderabad Teacher Claims Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 Has Turned Students Into Spoiled Brats: ‘They Don’t Behave Well, Pick Up Bad Language’

A Hyderabad teacher claims Pushpa 2 is influencing students negatively, making them adopt bad behaviour and language.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa craze refuses to die down, but not everyone is thrilled. A Hyderabad teacher has now claimed that the film is negatively influencing students, making them pick up bad habits and language.

When Pushpa: The Rise hit cinemas in 2021, it wasn’t just a box office hit, it became a movement. Allu Arjun’s intense performance as Pushpa Raj, his ‘jhukega nahi’ attitude and his iconic walk turned into viral trends. Fans, celebrities, and politicians joined the trend, and Pushpa 2‘s success has only fueled the craze.

But not everyone is cheering. A teacher from Hyderabad believes the film is doing more harm than good, claiming it is making students difficult to handle.

Hyderabad Teacher Calls Pushpa 2 ‘Bad Influence’ On Students

At a recent Education Commission meeting, teachers from government schools raised concerns about the impact of films on students. A headmistress from Yousufguda specifically called out Pushpa 2, saying many students were imitating the film’s style and behaviour.

“They don’t behave well and pick up bad language from their streets and homes. Especially, their hairstyle is very odd, and when we try to tell them to change it, they pay no ear to us. Even the parents also not concerned about it,” she reportedly said, as per Gulte.

According to her, students are skipping school, copying Pushpa’s mannerisms, and refusing to listen to teachers. She also expressed frustration with parents & accused them of ignoring the issue.

Is Allu Arjun Starrer Really To Blame? Netizens React

The teacher’s statement sparked a debate online. Some users supported her claims, while others found them ridiculous.

One X user responded, “If movies have that much influence, let’s show them Super 30 and Swades every day and turn them into toppers!”

Another wrote, “This is the problem with illiteracy. Stop blaming films for bad parenting.”

However, some agreed with the teacher. A user said, “I never liked Pushpa. Glorifying a criminal? No wonder kids are copying it.”

Some questioned the teacher’s stance. One user asked, “Isn’t it a teacher’s job to guide students? Why blame a film?”

While the debate continues, Pushpa 2 has made history at the box office. Released on 5 December 2024, the film has crossed Rs 1,642 crore worldwide & became the third highest-grossing Indian film ever.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil.
