Vidyut Jammwal’s much-awaited trailer for his upcoming movie “IB 71” is finally out. The espionage thriller is directed by Sankalp Reddy, best known for National Award-winning 2017 war movie “Ghazi”. The plot of the movie revolves around a true story that made India win the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The trailer shows a plot based on a covert mission executed against the backdrop of two at-war countries, India and Pakistan. As per the trailer, the movie is based on true events and will tell a detailed account of the same. The movie is set to release in cinemas on May 12, 2023.
Vidyut Jammwal, who plays the lead role in the movie, shared the teaser on his social media pages. He wrote in the caption, “30 agents, 10 days, and 1 top secret mission that was hidden for 50 years! Witness this incredible true story that made us win the 1971 Indo-Pak war…. IB71Trailer out now! #IB71 in cinemas on May 12”. The movie is also backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and marks Vidyut’s first movie as a producer with his production house, Action Hero Films.

The movie also stars Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in lead roles. Reddy said working on “IB 71” turned out to be an “absolute thrill ride” for him. “I was drawn to the film’s intriguing premise and the opportunity to explore the world of undercover operations.
