Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was back in Mumbai on Thursday. Today, the Pathaan actor celebrated Independence Day with his trademark flair. At his iconic mansion Mannat, he was seen proudly hoisting the Indian flag to mark the 78th Independence Day.

Shah Rukh kept his tradition alive by raising the flag at his residence. Dressed casually in a white t-shirt and jeans, with his signature sunglasses, he looked every bit the superstar.
He was joined by his family—wife Gauri, daughter Suhana, and youngest son AbRam. The family members wore white attire, complementing the festive mood.
After the flag-hoisting ceremony, Shah Rukh treated his fans to a special moment. He climbed up to wave at the crowd gathered outside his home, expressing gratitude with folded hands and sending flying kisses.

The actor later took to social media to share his Independence Day wishes. Posting a photo with his family and the Indian flag, he wrote, “Let’s celebrate our beautiful country India with pride in our hearts…. Happy Independence Day and love to all.”
Shah Rukh Khan Was Recently Honoured At 77th Locarno
Shah Rukh Khan received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival on August 10. He became the first Indian actor to be honoured with the Pardo alla Carriera, recognising his extensive and impactful career.
Shah Rukh’s cinematic journey began with Maya Memsaab and includes iconic films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Devdas, and Jawan, among others.
SRK’s Upcoming Projects
Looking ahead, Shah Rukh is gearing up for his role in the action-drama King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. He has described the film as “massy” and “emotional,” where he will play a gangster.
Additionally, he has done voiceover work for the Hindi version of Disney’s The Lion King. In this adaptation, Shah Rukh voices the adult Mufasa, while his sons Aryan and AbRam voice Simba and younger Mufasa, respectively. This version of the film is set to release on December 20.
Shah Rukh is also expected to start work on Tiger vs Pathaan, a film part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe, following the completion of King. This new project will continue the exciting narratives of the Pathaan and Tiger series.
