Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik’s death has left the nation in shock, and the investigation into the matter has taken a new turn. According to a senior police official, some “medicines” were found at the farmhouse in Bijwasan where Kaushik attended a party before his death. The police official added that they are waiting for the autopsy report to ascertain the cause of his death.
The post-mortem of the veteran actor was conducted at Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital, and the police are now trying to determine whether the medicines found at the party venue had any connection to his death.
The police official further stated that they had received information about Kaushik’s death from Fortis hospital in Gurugram. A list of guests who attended the party has also been made. The investigation into the actor’s death is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as the police continue their probe.
The actor, who was known for his memorable roles, passed away on March 9th, 2023 at night, and his death has been condoled by several noted personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Actor Anupam Kher, who was a close friend of Kaushik, shared the news of his death on social media and expressed his grief. He said, “I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”
Many other Bollywood celebrities also expressed their condolences over the sudden demise of the talented actor-director. PM Modi also took to Twitter to pay his tribute to the late actor. “Pained by the untimely demise of noted film personality Shri Satish Kaushik Ji. He was a creative genius who won hearts thanks to his wonderful acting and direction. His works will continue to entertain audiences. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti,” he tweeted.
According to the manager’s statement, the actor unfortunately lost consciousness during the few minutes it took to reach the hospital. Santosh, who was present, revealed that the actor had expressed his desire to live for his daughter Vanshika and requested that they take good care of her and his wife. He said, “Mujhe Vanshika ke liye jeena hai. Shashi aur Vanshika ka khayyal rakhna”, indicating his strong attachment and concern for his family’s well-being.
Satish Kaushik was known for his work in popular movies such as “Mr. India”, “Ram Lakhan”, and “Saajan Chale Sasural”, among others. He also made his mark as a director with films like “Tere Naam” and “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai”. His sudden demise has left the film industry and his fans in mourning.
