About The Director Sneha Taurani
Sneha Taurani is not a new name in the industry. She has been an assistant director on several hit Bollywood films, including Ranbir Kapoor’s Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. She made her full directorial debut with the 2020 comedy-drama Bhangra Paa Le.
That film starred Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dhillon. The story was about a young man named Jaggi from a Punjabi background who dreams of taking the traditional dance form, Bhangra, to a global stage by entering a dance competition in London. Bhangra Paa Le was released in theatres on January 3, 2020, and is currently streaming on Netflix.
Upcoming Films For The Actors
Both Saif and Pulkit have a busy schedule ahead. Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the heist action thriller Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins. The film premiered directly on Netflix and received mixed reviews. Looking ahead, Saif will be headlining Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan and co-starring Akshay Kumar. This film is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the hit Malayalam thriller Oppam.
Meanwhile, Pulkit Samrat is expected to appear next in Suswagatam Khushmadeed and Rahu Ketu. He also has a series titled Glory in the pipeline. This new film with Saif Ali Khan is a big and exciting addition to his lineup.
