Himesh Reshammiya recently unveiled his next project, Jaanam Terii Kasam – A Story Of The Saddest Love. Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, this musical promises to deliver heart-wrenching storytelling combined with a soulful soundtrack.
Produced under Himesh Reshammiya Melodies in association with Rao & Sapru Films, the film is set to premiere during Dussehra 2025.

Announcing the film on his birthday (July 23), Reshammiya also shared a teaser of the title track. He expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes and revealed details about the film in an Instagram post: “Thanks a lot for all your birthday wishes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Jaanam Terii Kasam – A Story Of The Saddest Love. A Himesh Reshammiya Musical, a film by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies in association with Rao and Sapru films releasing on Dussehra 2025.”
The teaser has already struck a chord with audiences, offering a glimpse into the film’s emotional depth and musical brilliance.
The video teases the storyline with the words, “At 17, it was madness, unhappiness. It was nothing but pain. It had no future. It was love. From the maestro of heartbreak melodies. The directors of Unforgettable Young Love. A story of Saddest love – Jaanam Terii Kasam.”

Himesh Reshammiya shared his excitement about collaborating with directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.
“Working with Radhika and Vinay as directors for my production house Himesh Reshammiya Melodies is an experience which cannot be described in words,” he said.
“Our relationship has grown each day since the time we created history with the music of Sanam Teri Kasam. Though our film is not a sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam, this teen love story is the new tragic tale of love of the star-crossed lovers which gives an amazing graph to my tragic songs. Now, we are taking this association to the next level. Their vision and my music are in perfect harmony for Jaanam Terii Kasam. We can’t wait to share this story with the world.”

Reshammiya is particularly proud of the film’s soundtrack. “I’m very proud of the soundtrack of Jaanam Terii Kasam, and going by the response to the title track teaser, I can assure you a timeless album which will resonate with every music lover,” he added.
