Finding Fanny, a movie from seven years ago that starred Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and other top performers, brought us a sweet little tale. Perhaps moviegoers will never forget that slice-of-life movie. Now, a close insider has exclusively disclosed that this time, when filmmaker Homi Adajania teams up with an incredible ensemble for a new project, the movie will be something different.
This time around, according to an exclusive revelation, Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Dimple Kapadia, and Aditya Roy Kapoor will collaborate on the director Homi Adajania’s upcoming major project. Murder Mubarak is said to be the working title of the movie. It will be based on Anuja Chauhan’s book, a suspenseful criminal story with a romantic and comedic undertone. An ensemble cast is necessary for its big-screen version, therefore the producers have enlisted the talents of Janhvi, Aditya, Pankaj, and Dimple. While the casting for supporting characters is taking place, they portray the lead roles.
With the English-language psychological drama Being Cyrus (2006), filmmaker Homi Adajania made his directorial debut. He then released the financially successful romantic comedy Cocktail in Hindi (2012). Adajania then helmed the parody Finding Fanny. In terms of her professional endeavours, Angrezi Medium, which was released on March 12, 2020, starred Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, and Deepak Dobriyal. He hasn’t made any movie since that time.
